Meet Michelle

Hi, I’m Michelle — a communicator, iced coffee lover, leadership development professional, and believer in the power of human connection. For more than 15 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping organizations grow through leadership development, inclusion, and intentional communication.

I’ve always been fascinated by how people work together: how trust is built, how leaders inspire, and how culture shapes performance. My background in health and interpersonal communication has led me to design learning experiences that don’t just build skills, but strengthen understanding and belonging.

In my work as a Director of Organizational Training & Development, and through teaching communication and leadership at the college level, I’ve seen firsthand how the right training can transform teams. When people feel seen, supported, and valued, they don’t just show up, they thrive.

Beyond Words is an extension of that belief. It’s where my professional experience and personal passion meet — a space to help organizations go beyond checkboxes and buzzwords to create real, lasting inclusion.
